According to FOX News, the LIVE on-air television interview and recognition will be in the later part of the 5:00 a.m. hour on the West Coast (Pacific Standard Time). FOX & Friends airs live from New York beginning at 7 a.m. (EST). Carla Franco, Sabrina Johnson, Peter Martinez, and Robert Moran won this year's $20,000 FOX News Channel "College Challenge" with their video: "SoCal Immigration: Law, Labor, Liberty."
All four Cal State Fullerton communications students and their faculty advisor will be flown out to New York (all-expenses paid) to appear on national television this Friday, April 25th on FOX News Channel's FOX & Friends program.
They will arrive Thursday afternoon in Newark, check-in to the hotel, go on-air Friday morning, be interviewed later that day for an entry-level or unpaid internship position, then return to Orange County on Saturday evening.
Dr. Brent Foster, the group's advisor, will also travel to New York to appear on FOX & Friends.
"This is a national spotlight for the University. It exemplifies the strength of our students and the Broadcast Journalism program here at Cal State Fullerton," Foster said. "I’m very proud of these guys, they did it all on their own."
