Peter Martinez completed ABC NEWS' first ever digital media fellowship last summer at ABC NEWS Headquarters in New York.ABC News provided an in-depth and hands-on weeklong training seminar in the Digital Bullpen. It introduced him to the ABC News network news flow including software programs like Avid iNews, Instinct, Newscutter, Xpress Pro, and Media Manager / UNITY. By the end of the week, each of the four fellowship students produced a video. Take a look: Here's some of the other projects Martinez worked on: ABC NEWS NOW: Former reporter/producer, David Puente, allowed me to use my camera skills and field producing experience for his show EXCLUSIVA (Hispanic news in English). I've also contributed to What's the Buzz, Parenting Perspectives, and Faith Matters. Mostly I went out with a camera and did "man on the street" interviews and BROLL footage used in the following videos: EXCLUSIVARunning of the Bulls: Time honored tradition or animal cruelty? PARENTING PERSPECTIVESOops, I can't believe I did that! EXCLUSIVAPresidential Itineraries >> CLICK TO READ MORE << And with some help from the abcnews.com business unit, I published an online article on June 20, 2008. He currently works overnights on the program "World News Now" and produces the daily SKINNY segment about entertainment and celebrity news.
