This is the final week that KCET will continue its signature news and public affairs series, "Life & Times." It has been through different versions over the past 16 years, including a studio show and most currently a field production anchored by Val Zavala.

Some past hosts included Hugh Hewitt, Kerman Maddox, Jess Marlow, Ruben Martinez, Patt Morrison and Warren Olney.

As a paid Emma Bowen Foundation summer intern at "Life & Times" for three summers, it was an honor to work with the producers, reporters, staff, and Ms. Val Zavala. I've made wonderful contacts with them. I can't wait to see "SoCal Connected" next year!
