The four UNITY alliance partners held their quadrennial convention in Chicago recently to discuss current and future trends in the news industry.

Oprah Winfrey gave this special welcome to journalists attending the UNITY opening reception at the McCormick Place in Chicago.

UNITY is made up of four journalism organizations: National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA), and the Native American Journalists Association (NAJA).
