Early on Monday morning an earthquake hit the Los Angeles area registering at a 4.4-magnitude, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. During that time, local news broadcasts were on the air including KTLA-TV, which is located in Hollywood, Calif. Morning news anchors Chris Schauble and Megan Henderson are shown on TV ducking under their desk when the quake struck around 6:25 a.m. on March 17th.

The U.S. Geological Survey praised the two news broadcasters on their Twitter feed for their correct reaction to an earthquake.
